Physical.
Appearance: Hidden behind armor his features are hard to determine but darker skin is visible in places. He is tall and rather imposing with the whole "I could crush your head between my forearm and bicep" thing going. His body is designed to be a soldier in a dangerous world while it is not very visible underneath his armor is a body trained to fight ability users despite not having one. As everyone knows for a non-ability user to butt heads with even a lower grade crystogen is highly dangerous and Tai has the scars to show for it. Numerous tiny scars speckle his form, most notable is a large cut scar on the back of his right forearm on what appeared to be burn scarred skin. While it may just appear he had the misfortune of getting two overlapping scars really they came from the same blow, a cyrstogen user struck the blow by wreathing a blade in fire before striking. The same fight awarded a now hidden burn on his shoulder. Naturally under his armor he looks like a graffiti wall from a sea of near death experiences and cruel training, sometimes those two things over lapped. Sun's armor is mostly ceremonial, it's just as much metal plates and tough leather as it is useless cloth. As per his culture the suit is made to look almost entirely black to signify his warrior occupation and trimmed red to show his status. Aside from that the various features are cosmetic and have little meaning. Now something worth talking about would be his helmet. Made of the highest quality available steel the helmet is both functional and symbolic. The gold mask on the face guards his identity and is a sign of belonging to a noble family. In the beliefs of his people one's head was considered something only useful to artisans and it was viewed as just another way to be killed for warriors. Wearing a well made helmet functioned as a way to remove it's "weakness" and allowed warriors to focus on what they thought mattered. As such the craftsmen ship on the helmet is far superior to all other pieces of armor and rivals that of his sword, which is considered the single most important tool of a warrior. Speaking of his sword he wears it at his belt in a sheath made of fine wood painted black and decorated with red patterns. As most things in his culture have some deeper meaning or symbolism it should be noted his tattered travel cloak has no significance beyond keeping warm.

Persona.
Personality: Highly honor bound. Normally his motivational forces involve redeeming lost honor or finding new honor. A trait rather unfitting for a pirate but he doesn't see the conflict between his moral code and his occupation. He believes he can act honorably as a pirate, never attacking a helpless opponent, never raiding a town without defenders, things of that sort. His homeland taught that no occupation is honorable over another, it is how you perform it. A doctor who heals well is just as respected as a bandit who steals well. But of course stealing well means graciously accepting your execution when you are caught. This translates to pirates as well, Sun Tai can honorably break the law but he knows that if ever caught and held responsible for his crimes he will not make the slightest effort to escape. In his homeland that honor is so absolute that jail doors do not need locks.Normally when "dishonored" in any way he is quick to vengeance, should his vengeance fail he is quick to seppeku. Fortunately for his own sake, thus far he has proven very good at vengeance.
He is very proud of his homeland and is honor bound to protect it should anything occur.
Likes:
-The way of the sword: It protects him, his loved ones and his honor.
-Wine: No self respecting pirate can exist without a taste for some form of alcohol
-Combat: A warrior born and raised he is ever eager to get in a fight
-Sea Food: Nothing like it
Dislikes:
-Attacking from behind: It will not get you far against Sun Tai and will only anger him
-Rubbing your bare head: It's like biting your thumb in his country,or flipping the bird. Helmets being customary wear being bareheaded was a shine of great casualness, to rub one's head is like challenging everyone around to bash it in.
-Loud Noise: Ever a man of few words Sun Tai is easily aggravated by constant and loud noise.
-Vegetables: Ignore what your parents say you don't need them to grow up big and strong
Motivations:
-HONOR: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UIXNOQ8ej9c
-I've got places to be and people to kill: Sun Tai has a long list of enemies just waiting to be executed given the chance
-Exploration: Sun Tai never saw much of the world and greatly desires to see beyond his little island.
Fears:
-Crows Man: They are freaking things. Also a symbol of malfortune on Sun Tai's island.
-Disease: You can't cut down a plague but it sure as taxes can cut you down
-Lightning: Another thing you can't cut and it really likes Tai's armor.
Etc.: He may or may not have wicked dance moves
